Outpatient Case Management Team Lead

As a Clinical Operations Supervisor at Spaulding Rehabilitation, you will oversee the operational and clinical responsibilities of our outpatient center. You will participate in quality improvement and program development activities, providing consultative services to clinicians to achieve stated goals for performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring general and program-specific competencies for the patient population served.
Key Responsibilities
Provide orientation, mentoring, and support to team members to achieve stated goals for performance, incorporating performance feedback into performance evaluations.
Deliver patient care in accordance with the Licensed Social Worker job description.
Manage patient satisfaction and productivity goals, identifying gaps and implementing improvement plans.
Mentor Social Workers, Case Managers, and Behavioral Health Clinicians to achieve professional standards of practice, adhering to network and facility policies and procedures.
Foster academic roles and research within the rehabilitation team.
Educate patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals in the community about the role of rehabilitation services, particularly in relation to specific programs.
Identify and prioritize the educational needs of staff, sharing priorities with the manager.
Attend management meetings as identified with the manager.
Support program-based marketing efforts to achieve stated objectives.
Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as established.
Develop staff clinical expertise to meet the needs of the persons served.
Manage clinical staffing to meet the needs of the department and the persons served.
Manage person-served issues, concerns, and complaints appropriately.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities
Manage full-time, part-time, and per-diem clinical staff.
Fiscal Responsibilities
Collaborate with the leadership team to meet fiscal year revenue and volume targets, proportional to direct staff reports.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Master's in Social Work program or relevant degree.
3 years of diverse and well-rounded clinical experience, preferably concentrated within the clinical specialties of the program.
Current license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Computer proficiency, with Microsoft Office applications preferred and ability to learn new software.
Problem-solving skills for treatment planning and execution, considering patient age, psychosocial, and cultural background.
Advanced skills in teaching others and self-assessment of learning needs, strengths, and professional goals.
Ability to safely execute all job responsibilities without risking injury to self or patients, demonstrating the ability to assess and interact with patients and families using theories of human growth and development, family systems, and cultural background.
Preferred Qualifications
Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
Anticipates challenges and develops strategies for addressing them.
High level of service delivery, demonstrating initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
