Position Overview:

The Crusher and Loader Specialist plays a crucial role in the efficient management of crude ore recovery from designated storage areas. This position involves transporting material to the crusher feed hopper and overseeing the operation of the primary crushing line and mill feed systems. Ensuring the timely availability of mill feed is vital to the overall Quality Management System of Superior Weighting Products LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently moves crude ore from stockpiles to the crusher system feed hopper.
- Blends ore as directed by plant management to maintain quality standards.
- Safely operates industrial front-end loaders and related equipment.
- Assists the Mill Operator in verifying proper material flow from mill feed hoppers.
- Loads bulk trucks utilizing a computerized scale and loading system, demonstrating proficiency in its use.
- Conducts thorough inspections of the front-end loader at the start of each shift, ensuring all operational fluids are at appropriate levels, brakes and hydraulics are functional, and greasing is performed as needed. Reports any concerns to management promptly.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and company procedures while performing duties.
- Engages in the Company’s Quality Management System initiatives.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Lead Mill Operator, Operations Manager, or other management personnel, including maintenance and production support as required.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED is required; relevant work experience, particularly in operating forklifts or front-end loaders, is preferred.
- Experience in an MHSA-regulated environment is advantageous.
- Forklift operation certification or the ability to obtain certification immediately is essential.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Capability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and fitness assessments is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Starting hourly pay of $23.00, with opportunities for quarterly and year-end bonuses.
