Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team at International Pediatrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing of behavioral health claims, adhering to federal and state guidelines and payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review clinical documentation from EMR billing reports for accurate and complete diagnostic and procedure information.
  • Process daily billing claims in a timely and accurate manner, requiring strong attention to detail.
  • Prepare clean claims to be sent to insurance companies electronically, utilizing UB04 or CMS 1500 formats.
  • Actively work in the Utilization Review process to resolve issues with patient authorizations.
  • Communicate with ARC facilities and other departments to address questions and concerns.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Administrative experience preferred
  • Previous Billing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
