Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on childbirth procedures and postpartum care.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform assessments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of L&D experience in a hospital setting.
  • Circulating experience is required; scrub experience is encouraged.
  • Experience with larger, high-volume delivery centers.
  • Strong triage and assessment skills.
  • High-risk pregnancy experience.
  • EPIC STORK experience.
  • Active certifications including AWHONN, NRP, BLS (AHA), and ACLS (AHA).
  • Iowa license (Compact Allowed).
