Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer III to direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, MongoDB or MariaDB, Django or Flask, ReST endpoint, Micro services, and other relevant technologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Directing the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies
  • Directing the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system
  • Creating new workflows to take over existing processes as needed
  • Leading development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software
  • Directing fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion

Required Skills:

  • Python
  • Experience using MongoDB or MariaDB
  • Experience using Django or Flask
  • ReST endpoint
  • Micro services

Preferred Skills:

  • Swagger
  • AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
  • Docker
  • Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs

Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 5 years of additional DBE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • 10 years' experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

The salary range for this position is based on contracted rates. The position is eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus program.
