Senior Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cook to join our team at Hope's Creek Retirement Living. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, ensuring excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food.
• Determine amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and ensure timely procurement.
• Maintain dependability and punctuality, adhering to our Attendance Policy.
• Communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic tasks.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
