Position Overview:

The Aircraft Maintenance Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the line and hangar maintenance activities at Flybreeze. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our fleet operates safely and efficiently, aligning with our commitment to excellence in aviation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance tasks performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs), ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Perform assigned maintenance duties in accordance with the Flybreeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
  • Assign tasks to AMTs based on work packages and directives from Maintenance Operations Control (MOC).
  • Collaborate with various departments to swiftly resolve issues impacting maintenance operations.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe environment.
  • Update MOC regarding aircraft status, including technical delays and out-of-service times.
  • Review maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely updates of delay information.
  • Conduct safety briefings and maintain a clean work environment to prevent Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
  • Authorize overtime, vacation, and training schedules for AMTs.
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to the Flybreeze Team Services Playbook.
  • Achieve performance metrics while embodying Flybreeze's core values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with a clean record and recent experience on commercial aircraft.
  • 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience.
  • Valid driver's license and passport with no travel restrictions.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and airline maintenance information systems.
  • Experience with Embraer E-Jet family aircraft.
  • Previous management or leadership experience.
  • Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business.
Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
