LA Gauge Company, a leading ultraprecision machining and optics manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Director to lead our quality and inspection departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and calibration technicians.
- Oversee the inspection department, ensuring uniform and effective part inspections.
- Implement proactive, thorough quality systems that reduce rework, scrap, and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for customers for quality-related issues.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in quality management, with 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Strong leadership abilities, effective communicator (verbal and written), and capable of driving process improvements.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Suite for data analysis, reporting, and regular communications.
