Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Burlington Industries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical circuits and components on plant machinery and equipment, as well as power circuits and lighting fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain electrical circuits and components on plant machinery and equipment
  • Work with crew to install or repair all types of electrical and electronic equipment
  • Perform preventative/predictive maintenance as directed
  • Dismantle, repair, and rewire simple electrical apparatus, control boards, and switches
  • Work on minor mechanical tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Prior electrical and mechanical experience
  • Must successfully complete self-study courses in Industrial Health & Safety, Chemical Hazards, and Electrical
  • Must attain and maintain Fork Truck License
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Working Conditions:

Must be willing to work in adverse conditions, including outdoors, cold, wet, hot, etc. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, after hours, on call-backs, and during week-long summer and Christmas shutdowns.
