Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented technologist to work in our diagnostic imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex imaging equipment, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and vascular interventional radiology (VI) systems.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols is essential.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, and VI scans
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT, MRI, or VI within one year of hire date
- One year of technologist experience in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols
