Job Title: STEAM Scholars Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a STEAM Scholars Tutor. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational program environment, demonstrating proficiency in the assigned curriculum, and effectively implementing lesson plans developed by S2 Teachers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in collaboration with S2 Teachers
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting academic growth and confidence
  • Assist with program planning, preparation, and evaluation
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program staff
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma with 2 years of work-related experience in tutoring, elementary education, or child care
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in progress preferred
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Cultural flexibility and competency in working with diverse participants
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153
