**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric ER Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Pediatric ER Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Ensure high-quality care in a pediatric emergency department
* Handle various shifts, typically two different ones within a month, excluding direct day-to-night transitions
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
* Float within the hospital and to satellite locations when needed
* Manage up to 6 non-scheduled days off (RTO)
* Commitment to working 2 out of 3 major holidays
* Complete required modules prior to the start date, spending approximately 6-8 hours on them
* Engage in a 12-hour orientation session
* Utilize strong communication and critical thinking skills
* Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

**Requirements:**

* 2 years recent experience in a pediatric emergency department in a children's hospital
* Current California RN license
* BLS, PALS certifications
* Must-have qualifications include pediatric experience in a children's hospital, CA license in hand or pending with an expected timeline of posting, willingness to receive flu vaccination, experience with computerized charting, triage experience, IV start, telemetry, and conscious sedation
