Position Summary:
The registered nurse is entrusted with the primary responsibility to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care for each assigned patient.
Guarantee that all physician orders are accurately transcribed and executed promptly.
Coordinate the care plan and conduct patient education specific to their medical conditions and home management. Actively engage in ensuring continuity of care and collaborate with other nursing and ancillary services to facilitate seamless communication and uninterrupted patient care. Exhibit leadership qualities and promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Mentor fellow nurses and colleagues.#
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Current RN license to practice Registered Nursing in the State of California
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Chemotherapy Provider Card to be obtained within 90 days of hire
Please note that this location mandates quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
This ongoing competency is required through internal resources; external RQI competency resources are not acceptable for compliance requirements.
RN Residents must secure the following certifications (ACLS) within 10 weeks of hire and the Chemotherapy Provider Card within 6 months.
