Job Overview

Position: Electrical Maintenance Specialist
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Telford, PA
Compensation: $35/hr DOE – Benefits/PTO


Position Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will serve as the primary resource for all electrical inquiries, challenges, and resolutions. This role involves mentoring the maintenance personnel and focusing on the continuous enhancement of the electrical infrastructure. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with the Engineering Team on new equipment installations and troubleshooting both machinery and systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
  • Design and assemble control panels.
  • Measure, cut, and install conduits.
  • Install and configure electrical devices.
  • Interpret and follow electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Calibrate monitoring instruments.
  • Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as necessary.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks and calibrations.
  • Understand and modify PLC ladder logic programs and electronic drives.
  • Adhere to local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
  • Experience with various voltage levels including logic (5/12vdc), control (24vdc/120vac), and up to 480 vac 3 phase.
  • Proficient in standard office software.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a trade school or relevant training program is advantageous.
  • State journeyman certification preferred.
  • Significant experience in an industrial setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties.
  • 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
