We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our team at Snipebridge, a strategic talent solutions company specializing in connecting exceptional talent to great career opportunities in the Architecture & Planning industry.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in landscape architecture and urban design, with expertise in project management, coordination, and delivery. They will be responsible for performing advanced technical design, providing full support throughout projects, and leading teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, and coordination of projects, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
  • Liaise with project management, architectural team members, and consultants to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Develop and represent lead technical viewpoints on projects, leveraging expertise in specialized systems and technologies.
  • Cover aspects of external project communications, preparing presentations and reports, and supporting business development efforts.
  • Prepare construction documents, including technically related building components and details, while independently executing or leading the construction administration process.
  • Supervise and guide less experienced landscape architectural team members, elevating the level of expertise within the team through design leadership, mentoring, and training.
Requirements
  • A professional degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or closely related field.
  • 10+ years of related professional experience or similar role with equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, ArcGIS, Rhino 3D, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to organize and create landscape architectural drawing sets, with experience in various project scales from planning to smaller city planning/urban projects.
  • Mentoring & QA/QC work for junior staff, with technical planning documents including urban design guidelines and detailed site plans, sections, axonometric, and diagrams.
  • Experience coordinating in-house team production as well as coordinating directly with clients, builders, and consultant teams.
  • Highly experienced with zoning and development codes, design-lead, and project-management roles, strong written and verbal communication skills.

The hiring range for this position in Seattle is estimated to be between $106,000 and $120,000 annually, considering the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience, as well as internal equity and external market factors. Final salary decisions will be made based on individual qualifications.
