POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Facility Cleaning Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our healthcare environment, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by our patients and their families. This role is vital to the overall aesthetic and hygiene of our facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, including the sanitation of patient/resident rooms, communal areas, floors, windows, mirrors, and light fixtures, as well as the thorough cleaning of restrooms.
- Dispose of waste and replace liners in trash bins.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D is required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous, although comprehensive training will be provided.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and reliable transportation are essential.
