**Job Title:** Precision Welder

We are seeking a skilled Precision Welder to join our team in Newport News, VA. As a Precision Welder, you will be responsible for fitting and welding sheet metal parts to meet the specifications of each job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fitting and welding sheet metal parts according to work orders, customer drawings, sample parts, and completed assemblies
  • Welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
  • Welding using steel, aluminum, and other alloys as required
  • Performing tasks such as clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, grinding, or bolting component parts to achieve the desired configurations and positions for welding breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Precision Mig Welder, preferably working with light gauge material
  • Proficient in welding techniques for various materials, including steel, aluminum, and alloys
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, customer drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
