Eagle Dining Services
Position Summary
The Dining Events Coordinator is responsible for crafting engaging culinary events across all dining venues, highlighting the exceptional offerings of our department while promoting student involvement in our dining initiatives. Collaborating closely with the dining leadership team, the coordinator will gather insights and propose innovative event concepts. This role also involves partnering with various campus departments to ensure comprehensive support and participation, fostering a vibrant and inclusive community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with departmental leadership and other campus entities.
- Develop a comprehensive calendar of events focusing on nutrition and culinary education across all Eagle Dining facilities.
- Maintain thorough documentation related to event planning, execution, and feedback.
- Analyze event feedback and execution, preparing award submissions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Business and Finance engagement team to promote events effectively.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in program planning.
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with the University System of Georgia and/or higher education institutions.
$25.88 per hour
This is a non-exempt position compensated on a biweekly basis.
