We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Doerfer Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, while also promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Repair: Plan, implement, and coordinate maintenance and upkeep of machinery and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Safety Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe physical and environmental working conditions, applying engineering principles and technology.
  3. Facilities Management: Collaborate with operations, HR, and quality teams to develop and maintain safety policies and procedures, as well as develop preventative maintenance procedures.
  4. Industrial Hygiene: Conduct safety assessments on equipment produced and provide safety letters to customers, as well as assist with data collection, reporting, and safety evaluations.
  5. Training and Development: Conduct or direct testing of air quality, noise, temperature, or radiation levels to verify compliance with health and safety regulations, and provide training to employees on safety laws and regulations.
  6. Emergency Response: Maintain relationships with outside organizations, such as fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams, to facilitate emergency responses.
  7. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, accident investigations, and employee training, as well as compile and analyze statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents.
Requirements
  1. Education: High school diploma or related experience.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience maintaining equipment in an industrial setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  2. Training: 30-Hour OSHA Training.
