Electrical Field Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Inspector to join our team at AEIS LLC - Atlas Evaluation & Inspection Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet all technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with NETA, IEEE, and manufacturer's standards.
• Verify and test completed field installations, including feeder and equipment tests.
• Replace panel boards and new panel board exteriors must be UL Listed and field UL labelled.
• Perform electrical testing on low voltage panel boards, cables, feeders, grounding systems, and system interconnections.
• Test instrument transformers at factory and site as required.
• Prepare and maintain records detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Relevant experience: at least 2 years of related electrical testing experience.
• Industry experience: 5 or more years performing related tasks in heavy industry, bridges, large commercial buildings, and construction.
• Physical and Sensory Requirements: the tasks, responsibilities, and expectations of this position require certain physical and sensory abilities.
• Driver's license: must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Professional certifications: NETA ETT Level IV certification (preferred).
• OSHA 30 hour certification.

Experience

License/Certification
