Job Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Documentation: Ensure that all products received from suppliers are logged correctly and efficiently.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload materials to designated distribution areas, adhering to shipping schedules.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of moving throughout all shipping areas and able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Temperature Adaptability: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, particularly in perishables ranging from 40 degrees to -20 degrees.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate stand-up forklifts or riding jacks to prepare outbound customer orders.
  • Pallet Management: Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets to assigned locations.
  • Material Handling: Accurately receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming materials in a timely manner.
  • Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, participating in team efforts to keep the facility accident-free.
  • Experience: Previous warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and independent.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Engage in general housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrate a positive attitude, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focus on enhancing system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures is essential.

Compensation will be based on experience.
