Experienced Veterinary Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Community Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and delivering outstanding customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Preparation and Administration: Safely prepare and administer medications to patients as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Specimen Preparation: Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, either in-house or at our reference laboratory.
  • Patient Care and Nursing: Provide high-quality patient care, including phlebotomy, IVC placement and maintenance, and other nursing duties.
  • Surgical and Anesthetic Monitoring: Monitor patients during surgical and anesthetic procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Dental Prophylaxis: Perform dental prophylaxis procedures to maintain the oral health of our patients.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize patient areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients through telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Data Entry and Invoicing: Accurately enter patient data and process invoices in a timely manner.

We are looking for a team player who can maintain their composure in stressful situations, safely and gently handle animals, stand for long periods of time, and safely lift at least 50 pounds.
