Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment
- Conduct thorough physical and psychosocial health assessments of patients to identify health problems and develop treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality patient care, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and performing procedures as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Leadership and Education
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols for patient care.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare teams on various health topics and patient care best practices.
- Education and Certification
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Active certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or eligible for certification.
- Experience and Skills
- At least 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a primary care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical data and develop effective treatment plans.
- Language Skills
- Bi-lingual Spanish language skills a plus.
- Education and Certifications
- Board Certification or eligibility in a relevant medical specialty.
