Job Description:

As a Class A Delivery Driver for US Foods, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of food products to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a valid CDL Class A license, manual heavy lifting, and making frequent stops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain high productivity levels
  • Unload products with a hand truck and store them safely in customer areas
  • Able to lift heavy items up to 80 pounds repeatedly
  • Make multiple stops during a work shift
  • Deliver products in various weather conditions
  • Verify product delivery with customers
  • Collect payments (cash or checks) when necessary

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with proper endorsements if required
  • No more than two traffic convictions in the past two years, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no suspended driver's licenses in the past three years
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
  • Pass DOT physical exam
