Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at PepsiCo. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed and stocked on store shelves, as well as maintaining a clean and organized backroom inventory area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
  • Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf to ensure maximum visibility and sales
  • Transport products to and from the backroom to shelf location using equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Display promotional materials such as signs and banners in accounts
  • Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition
  • Communicate store issues to store managers and PepsiCo management
  • Build customer relationships at the store level
  • Comply with operating procedures such as scan-in/scan-out and following designated routes
  • Service accounts during designated times established by management
  • Deliver customer service by communicating effectively and building rapport with customers
  • Ability to operate under minimal supervision and manage time effectively
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable)
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance
  • Ability to lift, load, push, and pull cases weighing 20-45 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience in a retail or grocery store environment
  • Moving products within a store safely and efficiently
  • Merchandising products to maximize sales and visibility
  • Managing backroom/stock room inventory
  • Serving customers and handling customer complaints
