Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Control Nurse to join our team at Universal Health Services. As an Infection Control Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide education and training to staff on infection control best practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of infection control activities and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement employee health programs to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular employee health screenings and provide guidance on health and wellness initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid State of Alaska RN License.
  • 2 years of nursing experience required. Experience in infection prevention preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Personal vehicle with a valid State of Alaska driver's license is required.
