  • Manage Documentation and Compliance
    • Prepare and distribute necessary documentation for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
    • Verify that all imported goods meet regulatory requirements
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of import activities, including shipment tracking and inventory management
    • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on import activities and budget performance
  • Vendor Management and Negotiation
    • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible shipping terms and rates
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth operations
  • Import Budget Management
    • Monitor and manage import budgets, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Identify opportunities to improve import processes and reduce costs
  • Regulatory Compliance and Training
    • Stay up-to-date on changes to import/export regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
    • Provide training and guidance to team members on import/export procedures and regulations
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal departments and external customers
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to imported goods

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
  • 1 year of experience working in import/export operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Working Conditions

  • 8 hour shift
  • Availability for the weekend

Pay Range

$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
