Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at Lake Worth, a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in the evaluation and treatment of residents, including assessing functional mobility and coordination.
  • Conduct individual and group treatment sessions, adapting techniques and media as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the Physical Therapy team.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
  • Current state licensure or license eligible.
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience.
