Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide programming duties for related applications.
  • Develop and review detailed documentation for system and program change requirements.
  • Assist and provide guidance through all phases of the project management life cycle.
  • Develop unit test plans based on coding changes and user specifications.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging of all code changes in the development environment.
  • Coordinate the migration of all code changes from development environment into user test environment.
  • Use distributed technologies including Java, DB2, XML, and XQuery.
  • Provide support for defects and issue resolution.
  • Ensure that defects and issues are addressed promptly based on priority.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings with clients' customers.
  • Communicate clearly with management, users, and team members.

Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of applicable professional experience.
  • Candidate is able to work independently without assistance.

Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP, and XML.
  • 3+ years of experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using modern IDEs.
  • 2+ years of experience using J2EE frameworks such as Spring or Struts.
  • 1+ year of experience writing SQL statements for relational databases.
  • 1+ year of experience in messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, or Kafka.
  • 1+ year of experience developing with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
