About the Role

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and following all state-specific laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care.
  • You will instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the physical therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing physical therapy assistants.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting to the supervising PT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
  • Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Current licensed, registered, or certified PTA in the state of Texas.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
