We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II - Night Shift to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general preventative and predictive maintenance to food manufacturing machines, including setting up, adjusting, and repairing all types of equipment to consistently meet our standards for safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators on a variety of equipment.
  • Performing assigned maintenance tasks as well as machine breakdown tasks to ensure continuous production.
  • Attending and participating in crew transition meetings, as well as daily transition meetings with other Maintenance Technicians.
  • Reading blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings.
  • Using measuring instruments, calipers, multimeter, etc.
  • Reworking and rebuilding mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Performing electrical troubleshooting on 480-volt 3-phase systems, including blown fuses, repairing, and rewiring motors, under qualified supervision.
  • Setting up and operating all types of production equipment and machine tools, such as lathes, mills, welders, making or reworking required machine parts.
  • Performing basic PLC troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a mechanical/electrical electrician.
  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment - preferred.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery.
  • Some experience in forklift operations.
  • Ability to use a multi-meter.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
