Responsibilities
  • Provide basic respiratory care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics
  • Work in emergency, critical care, home care, outpatient care, SNF care, and acute care settings
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct assessments, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements
  • Active Iowa Respiratory Therapist License
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Eligible for or currently a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRT)
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification
