Pet Grooming Trainee

Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for furry friends? Do you have a knack for making pets feel comfortable and relaxed? As a Pet Grooming Trainee at PetSmart, you'll embark on an exciting journey to develop your skills and expertise in the art of pet grooming.
Our Training ProgramWe offer a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to succeed in this rewarding career. Our program consists of four stages:
- Stage 1: Bather - Get hands-on experience with our pets, learning about different dog breeds and styling under the guidance of our experienced salon leaders.
- Stage 2: Grooming Academy - Attend our Grooming Academy, where you'll gain insights from our experienced trainers and dive deeper into breed styling, caring for different dog breeds, and mastering tools and clippers.
- Stage 3: Groomer Trainee - Put your new skills to work in our salon, working alongside experienced groomers to develop your skills and confidence.
- Stage 4: Pet Stylist in Training - Take your skills to the next level, building relationships with your own clients, advising on styles, and suggesting new services.
