Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary:
Cynet Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Milford, DE. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Site Manager and CT Scan Supervisor, demonstrate competency and actively function in CT/General Radiology procedures.
  • Prepare procedure room and patient for all studies, properly disinfecting all equipment after each patient, following cleaning policies and protocols.
  • Educate patients regarding the ordered procedure and answer any related questions, obtaining patient history and written consent for exams.
  • Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols, positioning patients and selecting appropriate equipment necessary for the procedure, considering the age and physical capabilities of the patient.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, notifying the Radiologist of any reactions or problems.
  • Demonstrate competency in all general diagnostic imaging equipment in CT, ensuring quality images for all completed procedures prior to releasing the patient by reviewing films or sending images to the PACS System.
  • Carry out duties and assume responsibility for portions of the quality assurance program as directed by the equipment vendors, maintaining competence with HIS, RIS, PHS, and PACS.
  • Run a pending work report daily to ensure all exams have been properly charged, tracking and reporting PACS and HIS errors following the QA policy.
  • Maintain adequate supplies, responsible for stocking the room, as assigned, at the beginning of each shift and throughout the day, reporting all items that fall below par level to the designated person.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.

Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience, or completion of an accredited CT program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CT scanning procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
