About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Associate to join our Credit team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with data, sales, operations, and client development teams to provide a seamless experience for our clients while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end credit onboarding process, including application requirements, underwriting, and credit activation.
  • Develop and implement underwriting and line assignment programs using internal and external data.
  • Perform credit analyses across our product suite and develop cross-product risk strategies.
  • Lead as credit point of contact for all teams in the New York office, ensuring best practices and seamless communication with customer-facing partners.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to develop decision engines and underwriting tools to increase operational efficiency.
  • Manage portfolio management processes, including strategies to collect and analyze data across all portfolio companies.
  • Research emerging macro and portfolio trends to innovate underwriting policies and develop backtests and model improvements.
  • Maintain and iterate monitoring dashboards for underwriting decisions and portfolio performance.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of full-time commercial underwriting or credit experience at a bank, fintech lender, or similar institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally on projects.
  • Quantitative background, including a degree in economics, mathematics, science, or engineering.
  • Proficient in three-statement financial modeling and its interactions.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intellectual and personal integrity.
  • Ability to multitask across competing assignments with changing priorities and deadlines.
What We Offer

Rho offers a competitive salary range of $111,000 - $129,000, depending on relevant experience, skills, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, we offer equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off. We value diversity and inclusivity and welcome all qualified applications.
