Masonry Craftsman

About the Role: As a Masonry Craftsman, you will be responsible for assisting Lead Technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of chimneys and fireplaces. This includes site preparation, cleaning and sweeping of fireplaces and chimneys, making repairs, installing units, troubleshooting, and other related duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with site preparation and clean-up
• Clean and sweep fireplaces and chimneys
• Maintain and repair chimneys and fireplaces
• Install new chimney systems
• Troubleshoot issues with chimneys and fireplaces
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Previous construction, carpentry, or related experience
• Previous stone, tile, brick laying (masonry) experience
• Possess basic tools required for the job
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation to drive to residential job sites and to the office
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces
• Ability to pass a pre-assignment drug screen and background check
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to handle physical demands of the position while following safety protocols

Estimated Salary Range: $35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
