Position Summary:
We are in search of a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring efficient clinic operations. If you are organized, possess strong communication abilities, and excel in a dynamic medical setting, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. The work schedule is Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
- Accurately document patients' medical histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information.
- Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and treatments.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and procedures.
- Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, including infection control standards.
- Provide patient education and support as directed by healthcare staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical workspace.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team setting.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While fulfilling job duties, the employee may occasionally need to sit, engage in repetitive motions, type, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, reach overhead, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
