Job Title: Head Boys Bowling Coach

Job Summary:

The Head Boys Bowling Coach is responsible for leading and guiding the boys bowling team to achieve a high level of skill and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will have excellent coaching skills, be able to work collaboratively with others, and have strong verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan to improve team performance.
  2. Recruit and retain top talent on the team.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, parents, and school administrators.
  4. Develop and implement a plan to create feeder programs and off-season activities to ensure continued program success.
  5. Attend staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance.
  6. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the athletic director or another appropriate administrator.
Requirements:
  • Must have excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Must have strong verbal communication skills.
  • Must model a desire and willingness to continually learn.
Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, run, jump, stretch, stand, sit, use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. The employee may occasionally climb stairs, ropes or ladders. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision.
