Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort patients to and from the imaging department, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Assist in MRI Zone III when there is only one MRI technologist present, particularly during off-hours.
  • Transfer patients from wheelchairs/stretchers to exam tables and back, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare imaging rooms for procedures, adapting to high-volume needs and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Look up lab work for patients requiring injections of IV contrast, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Respond to routine calls in a busy environment, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, adhering to departmental safety rules and practices.
  • Order and unpack supplies for the imaging department, ensuring timely delivery and organization.
  • Operate computer systems and office equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Interact with patients, family members, physicians, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in a medical environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
