Clinical Data Transformation Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Transformation Manager to join our team at Katalyst Healthcares and Life Sciences. As a key member of our Clinical Data platform, you will be responsible for creating an automated, scalable approach for data transformation, automation, and common data model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and prepare data mapping rules to design domain-specific logical automated data pipelines, common data model, and partner with various functions to drive implementation.
  • Collaborate with Global Development business functions to understand business use cases and convert those into transformation, automation, data modeling needs, and contribute to evolve Clinical Data platform roadmap.
  • Partner with Global Development Solutions, Data Analytics & Science Group, and Enterprise functions (e.g., IT, Privacy etc.) to implement specifications shaping the development of Scientific data foundations to advance overall data transformation & model activities.
  • Work towards preparing Common Data Model mapping & transformations to ensure data is usable in the analytical layer/ and comply with the Governance Committee strategy.
  • Develop data ingestion and transformation pipeline to Clean, Transform, and Normalize data to achieve business goals.
  • Utilize data mining methodologies to analyze complex clinical datasets, identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Create clear and concise visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate data-driven insights & Present findings in a compelling manner, tailored to the target audience.

Requirements:

  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Possess Excellent communication, and project management skills.
  • To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) within clinical data analytics, preferably in the BioPharma industry.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data analytic platforms and technologies, including Big Data, Lakehouse, and modern data ingestion and integration.
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CLINICAL DATA SETS, EDC and non-crf data, and have strong analytical skills with the ability to work with a variety of large and complex datasets including (but not limited to) basic research datasets and clinical data.
