Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team as an Elementary Re-evaluations Specialist. As a key member of our educational services team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, developing and implementing effective interventions, and providing counseling and support services to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention
    • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
    • Interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Counseling and Support Services
    • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
    • Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
