Public Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Safety Officer to join our team at Camden County College. As a Public Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce college policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, providing assistance and support as needed
- Monitor and patrol campus areas, including buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support incident reports
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a coordinated response to emergencies and incidents
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in criminal justice or related field preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in public safety or a related field
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
