Job DescriptionJob Title: Physical Therapist

At Leman Academy of Excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their full potential by providing individualized physical therapy services.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students to identify their physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to improve their motor skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Modify the educational environment to ensure that it is accessible and safe for students with physical disabilities.
  • Train classroom personnel on how to properly lift and transfer students, use adaptive equipment, and provide other services.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and workshops to stay up-to-date on best practices in physical therapy.
  • Collect and analyze data to track student progress and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
  • Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License - Physical Therapist.
  • Colorado Physical Therapy License from DORA.
  • First Aid/CPR certified.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred pediatric experience).
