We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team at South Central Family Health Center. As a Pediatrician, you will provide comprehensive medical services to children and families, promoting healthy development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions affecting children
- Order and interpret lab tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic imaging
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in pediatric care
- Medical Degree (MD) and current California State Medical License
- Current DEA Certificate and ACLS or Advanced Life Support certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community clinic settings as a pediatrician
- Knowledge of safety, infection control, and emergency policies and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
