We are seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join our team at Novonesis. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment, ensuring high-quality products, and adhering to strict safety and sanitation protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and maintain packaging equipment to meet quality and production standards.
- Assist in the preparation of packaging materials, including bags and labels.
- Verify product lots and batch numbers, and ensure accurate labeling and packaging.
- Stack and store packaged products in a safe and organized manner.
- Deliver or retrieve raw materials and finished products as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform basic maintenance and repairs.
- Complete necessary paperwork and data entry for production and inventory records.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, using Lean principles and concepts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a production environment preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic mathematical skills, including conversion of weight and volume in the metric system.
- Ability to operate a pallet walker and/or forklift, preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including ERP system knowledge (SAP), preferred.
