Responsibilities
As a Reading Intervention Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Providing one-on-one and small group instruction to students in need of extra support
• Assisting teachers in interpreting DIBELS assessments and developing targeted interventions
• Collaborating with literacy coaches to provide professional development opportunities for staff
• Communicating effectively with district leaders and state/county reading specialists
• Serving as a liaison to after-school tutoring programs
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned by the Director of Educational Services

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
• A valid Arizona teacher certificate with a reading endorsement
• A Master's degree in Education (preferred) with a focus on elementary education, reading education, or early childhood education
• Five years of experience as a classroom teacher or reading specialist
• Comprehensive knowledge of current reading trends and methodologies
• An IVP fingerprint clearance card through the AZ Department of Public Safety
