Job Title: Insulation Foreman

We're seeking a skilled Insulation Foreman to join our team at nVent. As a key member of our construction team, you'll be responsible for overseeing insulation labor on job sites, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to apply insulation to practical applications.
  • Follow all unit insulation maintenance practices.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment, including climbing stairs and catwalks, and working in extreme heat and cold weather conditions.
  • Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operating conditions require.
  • Observe all safety rules and regulations and wear personal protective equipment.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of journeymen and helpers.
  • Responsible for time entry sheets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • NCCER Certifications preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an Insulation Journeyman.
  • Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently.
  • Ability to write legible, routine correspondence and to speak effectively and coherently with management and other employees.
  • Knowledge of industrial insulation issues.
  • Works well within teams.
  • 90% travel to job sites around the country.
