Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Van Driver - Non-CDL to transport students to and from school and special events. The ideal candidate will have a valid Virginia driver's license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

• Drive a school vehicle safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school and special events.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Report any accidents or incidents to the director of operations and complete required reports.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, including washing and fueling as needed.
• Transport only authorized students, school personnel, and approved persons.
• Conduct periodic emergency vehicle evacuation drills and ensure passenger safety.
• Record mileage and maintain various records and reports on activities.

• Valid Virginia driver's license.
• Ability to read and write.
• Physical ability to operate a school vehicle safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Van Driver - Non-CDL will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with students, parents, and school staff. The position requires the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
