Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Application Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT services, including system maintenance, user support, and assisting in IT security. Your primary focus will be on Microservices-based systems, requiring strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly release activities and data reconciliation
  • Handling data feeds and interfaces, as well as root cause analysis for Priority 1 and 2 issues
  • Ticket management using SNOW, including triage, prioritization, assignment, tracking, and closure
  • Weekly and monthly reporting, problem management, and incident quality
  • Change management and ensuring seamless system operation

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, OOP/OOD, SQL, and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Ant, Maven, CI/CD, AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes/Docker, and Microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of MongoDB, Cassandra, MySQL, Oracle, Weblogic App server, and Apache HTTP
  • Unix command skills and good Python scripting knowledge
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 production environment and take on-call duties on a rotational basis

Education:

  • 2-5 years of experience working in large technology teams
  • B-Tech in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
  • Extensive technical experience in IT application technology
