Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Medical Care Corporation. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments and testing, providing patient education, and monitoring compliance with prescribed therapies related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely completion of prescribed testing and/or therapies.
  • Accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Calibration and maintenance of equipment.
  • Serving as a resource for other clinical staff.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
  • Previous working experience in respiratory care, or successful completion of department-specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level.
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
